CDx3 Notification Service Website - Quarantine

Knowing which preferred stocks to avoid can be just as important as knowing how to find your favorites. The Quarantine page shows you former CDx3 Preferred Stocks that have fallen from grace, at least temporarily.

Prior to the Global Credit Crisis there had never been a case where a CDx3 Preferred Stock has lost its investment grade rating.

But in the aftermath of the crisis the preferred stocks issued by four companies were downgraded below investment grade and are listed here on the Quarantine page (since this Tutorial is available to the general public the identifying information for these preferred stocks has been obscured here in order to protect the value of subscriptions to the CDx3 Notification Service).

All but one of these quarantined preferred stocks has continued to meet their dividend obligations.

The Event Log shows the key events affecting shareholders as these companies work toward recovery.
